So I've heard they've been scrapped. Seems really disappointing to me, since we'd been waiting this whole time and we've had a few these major characters who represent Musketeers or Arcanists. Seems in poor taste to scrap them as a class.

Who told you they were scrapped? In the 2.0 documents they mention "new classes and jobs" being released before 2.0.
