For just 41 cents a day, 1.8 cents an HOUR, you TOO can play FFXIV

I enjoy ffxiv, and play it on a regular basis. And I will continue to do so. If 12.95 a month is going to break your budget, or do anything remotely close, yes, you should go, an re-evaluate your life choices, such as spending a fortune on a computer that can even hope to play ffxiv when you are in such financial crisis.

If SE needs money, which they do after sinking a fortune into ffxiv, to make ffxiv succeed, then sure, have $12.95 a month from me. In face, they can have $25.90, I'll keep my mule active too.

if someone truely cant afford it they shouldnt be playing games anyway

if someone plays the game ALOT and feels its not worth it, why the hell are they playing it so much anyway? they are obviously enjoying it(or are a complete masochist for games they dont like)

It's not about the cost, it's the principal of the matter. Pay to play a beta. No thanks.

If those diseased orphaned children commercials couldn't get me to give to charity, I sure all hay ain't giving charity to a multinational corporation.

wow since when this is Beta? beta data get wipe. but this aint beta anymore.

Beta huh? I find it to be a fully functional and enjoyable game, that receives feedback from players, and introduces new content, similar to, i don't know, every other MMO? Beta was when we had access to limsa area only, then a couple areas were opened with a majority of the content locked off. There's a big difference between this and any beta I've ever played.

Not all games get beta whipe, a lot of recent games infact dont whipe and go straight into release from beta.

That's an exaggeration of their point to make it seem faulty.

Fact is, Yoshida said himself that the game is only half way to being satisfactory. Therefore, we're experiencing a post release beta.
