Was looking forward to this dance...and it looks pathetic on female characters, minimal movement and barely any energy to it, while males get a much more powerful looking dance. Can this please be put on the same level as the male version?

Everyone is just going to point out that it's based on a real life dance, of which the female version is similarly muted and weak. Blah blah blah. Of course, the female Vanu Vanu from the story quests performs the male version, and it actually looks powerful. Pretty silly for a female to come running in during the cutscene and blow enemies away with tiny movements like our characters do.
Whether you like it or not, it is based on the haka, a real life dance. The males are more aggressive while the females exhibit softer movements. Study up.
I think it should simply be renamed.
"Sunderp Dance" sounds about right. Or maybe "The Alexander".
wait, there are female vanus? thought they are all male ...lol
Uh, she doesn't? Check again. I just finished the Vanu Vanu quests yesterday, so I know for a fact she does the softer female version of the dance.
Oh boy now that a proper explanation has been given, is this where people start whining for video game equal rights?
There's a cluster of 3 females doing the muted dance on the island, too.
