Heavensward Issues

So I finally finish all of my story mode up to the "coming to ishgard" and to my surprise the quest is red. then I go through all the steps to register my early access code (putting code in psn, redeem code, download, link to service account) i then exit completely out of the game and log back in and the quest is still red. I check the mogstation and it doesn't show that I have the game checked. I really want to access my game so I wait the 3hours to uninstall and reinstall ffxiv all together and still nothing. I am getting very infuriated with this dilemma and would appreciate all and any help to get to ishgard.

so you were able to download the expansion? early access codes had expired quite a while ago.

Yes i downloaded the add on. Its also under my services list and if it helps i received the game gifts after i downloaded for the code.
