Balmung - Character not visible on select screen - Can't log in

[After posting this I saw that there were others with this issue on Reddit. So now I know Balmung is just having issues right now.]


When I connect to the data center and see character select, my character isn't visible. My character's name is still listed though, so I know it hasn't been deleted. If I try to logon, I'm taken to a loading screen showing the overall map of Eorzea (this is weird) for a couple seconds then I get this error:

"World data could not be obtained. Please try logging in later." error 1016

I can see and log in to my characters on the other worlds just fine, it seems Balmung is the only one affected...

Anyone ever had this happen? Know a fix? Is Balmung possibly bork right now?
