Anyone else want a mailing list for when patches are near?

I'd like to get an email when the game gets patched.

I pay for this game 180 days a time. I'm not going anywhere.

BUT I'm bored right now.

I finished remodeling my FC mansion with the moogle glamour in the first week that the patch was out. My airships can't be any more 50 than they already are. I just log in to do the mini cactpot when i feel like it.

I'm waiting on 3.15 for new relic weapons so that at least if I'm grinding this game for iLevels, the results will last more than 1 patch.

I've got an active subscription. Send me an email so I can look forward to playing again and entice people to play that don't have an active subscription. If I was a person that doesn't want to get an email, I'm sure you'd have a way to unsubscribe.

Make a materia collection. mostly 5s. never know when you'll need em for relic, but thats kinda boring, just a thought. Do you know every Friday at 8pm est theres a PvP event when people do wolves den a butt load? I don't get how an email would be any different from the news feed of the official site. They tend to announce most maintenances days in advance both there, when you log in and at the top of the chat log. Only emergency maintenances are so short a notice that they only give an in-game warning across chat. An email would likely occur just as soon as the site and in-game messages.

I got an official announcement email for 3.05, and I have old ones archived telling me when seasonal events were happening. I don't think this is a case of "S-E needs to do this" but rather "S-E needs to do this more consistently".

+1 either way, because not everyone is going to log onto the Lodestone or forums every day to see if there's a patching coming Soon™ or not.

I wish I could PvP, waiting 2+ hours in a queue per match, is a big turnoff.

There is one already, which goes to every FFXIV account holder wether actually paying the sub or not (unless you've opted out of the mailing)
I received mine for 3.1 on 10 November 2015 at 20:25. It had a video at the top and six sections underneath about specific content. Perhaps your mailing options are in your SE account (not mog station)

Yep... on their mailing list already. Don't read most of them though, just move them to an FF_Stuff folder. Still get them from XI as well. About every 3 weeks or so I get at least one notice from one or the other.

Thanks for the info, ill check around.

I checked to make sure i had the correct email account on file and that i didnt have it on a spam filter, but no dice.
