Is it time for world combining?

If payments go live and alot of people leave for the moment, should we combine worlds to give higher population especially for some of the smaller ones?

I think so. I prefer a livelier atmosphere. With most things being instanced, I don't see a huge competition issue... plus the economy should be better with an increased buyer/seller presence.

Scary Thought. Also they are adding the PC search system soon so we can see how many people are logged into the server. "hey wait a minute where is everybody?"

Then what happens when the ps3 releases and everyone who is waiting reuses their old account and floods the merged servers. well i guess that's why they make servers with intel e7-4870's 8 to a box.

Worlds are going to be combined, and it is going to happen by March according to their roadmap.

I'm not sure what that means really... I think it's refering purely to the dungeon finder system and the ability to group up with people from other servers on a one-time basis. I think we will still see servers.

Yeah thts whats held me back from wanting merging, the trouble is the populations continue to drop, and unless your with Uldah company probably not much chance of working with others for stuff that benefits everyone being from same company.
