Dark Knight Soul Crystal question

Hi all,
Just a question about the Dark Knight Soul Crystal.Once you equip it you can't change back to Paladin or any other job according to a reply to a thread i started on Reddit.Is this true or can you equip another job's Soul Crystal after equipping the Dark Knight's Soul Crystal?

Whoever told you that is either misinformed or a troll. You can still play your other jobs.
