PS4 keyboard help!!!

Sorry if anyone seen this on gamefaqs I am trying to find a solution and quickest I can. Please help me, I am using a skiller pro keyboard from sharkoon...
When I plug in the keyboard before turning on my ps4, I turn my ps4 on and my profile shows with a keyboard icon meaning the keyboard works, I then get asked who is using the keyboard so obviously I choose the user I will play xiv on. I go in the game (direct chat enabled) the mouse works but keyboard nothing no life at all it is lighten up I know it works my ps4 knows its there... but it does nothing at all its frustrating please help?
