I've played Void Ark a couple times as Summoner. I've noticed that many of the AoE attacks from the first boss damage or kill my egi.
I've also noticed that the other bosses don't seem to damage my egi with their AoE attacks.
Is this an oversight of some kind, or is there some sort of logic to this design choice?
Maybe based on dammage types? Like for example, MCH turrets aren't effected by the fire pools in Keeper of the Lake.
Not sure if the fire pos effect egis or not though.
It's only the tail swipe and the electrified floor where the safe spot is under him in my experience. I find that the attacks themselves don't damage the Egi, but the dot (especially the floor dot which sustain just cannot keep up with) hits. I find the only way to avoid it is to plant your pet right underneath the boss to keep it safe from those.
Maybe use Ifrit for that fight?
