Dear Siren members,
Is it me or does our beloved server feel dead lately? Most of my friends have transferred to a more populated server, making Siren so lonely. Our party finders are mostly empty by 11.00pm pst and it's just sad. I walk around Gold Saucer hoping to find an opponent for Lord of Verminion and all I see are NPC. Can we request a server merge to get more people or something?
While I agree a server merge would be nice, we have to consider the way housing is handled. Unless they come up with a way to make that work with the limitations they have (such as small dev team, PS3, etc.) I don't see them merging servers unless it is truly an issue. Personally I think siren is fine it's always been considered a casual server, but I wouldn't mind new people coming along and making the server more active.

I got shot to pieces saying Siren feels empty but I agree with what you are asking. Hope you get some reaction. I have an alt on Gilgamesh and different situation altogether but it is low level. Lots of players and helpful. Looking for hunt linkshells too. Addendum: Gilgamesh is much more active and the true barometer is marketboard. The first thing to check on any world. I have a professional on both worlds and houses so I consider my opinion informed. Gilgamesh is a great world with mostly good and helpful players. Siren is anemic with mostly a training server flavor. I have been here since 2015. The cross-world duty finder is a great innovation and well-done!
