Training Ones Chocobo

Hello fellow adventurers, hope yer havin' a good day! I'm here mainly to ask about a certain 'feature' I've found over the last few weeks that has me a tad confused.

I know how most of training works, you feed a Chocobo, it gains some exp, and it has a cooldown of an hour. Once you reach the level cap you need to feed em an Onion to proceed to levels past 10.

But one thing I've found is that right after me friend feeds the feathered beasts I can still train my own and his as they still say 'ready'. This however doesn't apply to the third Chocobo stabled who has a full 59 minutes still on his cooldown as he was just fed.

So the question is, why is it that my friend and I can train our own and each others Chocobos back to back, essentially getting double the training per hour, but not our third friends?

Any help would be appreciated greatly!

Your chocobo can be trained twice per hour, once has to be done by you, the other time can be done by anyone except you.

^this, it had me confused because I kept thinking my friend was forgetting to train mine (we pool krakka root and train them all regularly).

This confused me for the longest time as well. The reason why you can't train your third friend's bird is because he just put it in the stables. He can train his bird right away, but for other people there's an hour cooldown from when he puts his bird in the stables and you being able to train it. It's super weird, but that's the answer.

It's basically that, but a little more complicated. The other person training your chocobo has to also have their chocobo stabled for the process. I think it's a programming oversight related to your chocobo appearing at the top of the list. I've had a few FC members upset that someone fed everyone's chocobo except theirs, when they had all been fed.
