Besieged Ishgard!

I saw this coming and had a feeling this is why Ishgard had not been made available. I remember them mentioning that they did not open it up because of the changes in the battle system. This is in one of the PDFs

"Campaign of battles against the dragon horde in the defense of Ishgard, with participation possible as any of the four Disciplines."

Cannot wait. Also get ready for LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAG cries.

Hopefully it will have more to it then Besiege. I want to enjoy the city like i have with the other ones.

I assume and hope it will. However, I do not think they will completely make it a "central city" they already are agaisnt centralization of cities, but who knows maybe they changed their mind? I have a feeling it will not have an auction house though... maybe some type of market?
