I just had a question regarding the two. If you were to change the name of your character in game, would it also change in Moogle Mail that you've sent to people? Or would they see your old name under the the old mail you've sent them? Just wondering. Thanks.
It changes your name on their friends list (and in turn Moogle Mail) as well as in your Free Company and any Linkshells you are in. Basically everywhere in game only displays your new name. I haven't checked, but pretty sure also includes any items you've crafted as well.
It will change your name every where your name is displayed. Yes the mail you sent will have your new name, firends lists will be updated with your new name, FC name will be updated to your new name, etc/
In other words, you can't escape your stalker.
It doesn't change your name in the market boards if you purchase something.
I have old mail from friends with their old name after they've undergone a name change.. soo.. pretty sure it doesnt change for moogle mail. I would think only newly sent letters would have your new name attatched to it.
