I've been working on leveling SCH lately, currently at 55, and as I've played it I've come up with some questions I haven't been able immediately answer to my satisfaction. What answers I've found are old and lacking data to back them up, so I'm a bit hesitant to accept them as facts. Other "facts" I've read don't seem to match my observations. I would greatly appreciate some information from some knowledgeable SCHs and if any actual data is available, that would be awesome too.
1. What does Energy Drain scale off of? In very non-scientific observations during dungeons, it appears to have about the same effect in or out of Clerics.
2. Bane and Clerics Stance. Does Bane spread the DoTs based on your stats when the original was applied, or when you activate Bane? This would be easy enough to test, but I'm not able to get on the game at the moment.
3. I've read that fairy stats are based off of your stats at the time the fairy is summoned. The recommendation goes that you should only summon with Clerics off, and you should re-summon when you level up or update your gear. In some really quick testing, I didn't notice any change in Embrace's effect regardless of if Clerics was on or of when I summoned Selene. Anyone know for certain how this works?

1. The MP component? Level only. Like WHM's Shroud of Saints.
2. The DoTs are snapshotted when applied. Bane spreads the snapshotted version, minus elapsed time of course.
3. That's partly right, but it doesn't seem to take into account certain modifiers. Gear is taken into account, for example, potions are not. From your testing, it seems Clerics also doesn't matter. -

Ah... one detail I forgot to mention on #2.
Well, consider the following scenario. You pop a potion and Raging Strikes and apply some pretty powerful DoTs. You then bane them. Now, the mobs it spreads to do get the RS+pot buffed DoTs... but if the mobs you're spreading to have something like vulnerability down or rampart, that will weaken the DoTs even so.
As long as the mobs don't have any defensive CDs or similar, however, you don't need to worry about this detail. -

I might repeat what have been already said but
1) like said, mp and HP regen are based on your level. The damage done are bases on your Int, so yeah cleric is important if you want to dps.
2) bane spread DoTs how they are on your target, the more the better.
If you put DoT with potion and vulnerability up, then surrounding ennemies will recieve the enhanced dots
3) cleric stance do not change your faire stat
Foods and potions does during the summoning
Party buff too -

Energy drain scales off intelligence. At lower levels it doesnt seem like there is much difference with or without clerics but the gap widens considerably 50+
Bane spreads the effect of the original dots u applied. If you applied dots without clerics, it will apply that way across mobs in range.
Fairy levels up according to your level but it's own stats are independent (even if you are under clerics at time of summoning). The only effect on them i heard are food and pots. -
