Alt + Tab Error

Lately I have been experiencing what seems to be a glitch where alt-tabbing causes the game to hiccup, forcing me to sometimes click the screen multiple times in order for it to properly run, otherwise it's as though I never alt-tabbed back to begin with. I can "fix" this somewhat by switching to borderless window mode, then back to full screen, though it happens again if I fully exit out of the game.

This error only happens with FFXIV, and only since the most recent patch. Prior to 3.1, I had no issues.
