House sharing

So this morning I realized people who you've shared houses with can go inside said house despite the door being locked. Was this some kind of oversight by the dev team?

You share a house with them... "Share"

not an oversight at all, why wouldn't they be able to go in?

That's what "sharing a house" means. If you don't want anyone else to enter your house why share it?

To fix this:
Go to housing option
Select your tenants
Remove person you don't want in your house as a tenant
...

This lets me lock out my horrible neighbors and lets my friends come in, at the same time. It's really the best thing!

I am confused. Why are you wanting to lock out people who you are sharing your house with?
