Not so sure about that... They also mention something about developing and releasing a brand-new PC client. Could be they're separating the two, allowing the PC client to be enhanced as hardware improves, while keeping the PS3 build isolated.

Would be the best time to be doing that, given the complete restructuring it's undergoing.

Hopefully that's the case.

PS3 will probably just look like the PC version, only on Medium settings. You'll be fine!

Still looks better than any PC-only game, and has add-ons and shit. Problem PC playerbase?

The way I read it, the new engine will be more robust and can handle lower AND higher end PCs. This isn't limiting the game at all, but expanding it to a much wider audience.
