Coffin Lid and wind up Echidna too rare?

I have ran void ark about 20 ish times since release and I have not seen either of these drop at all.

Also, I have not seen a single coffin lid or the furniture it makes on the MB over the past two weeks. There is also no sales history for either item, so neither item has been sold at all.

Where are these items? They seem too rare to have to roll against 24 other people for them.

Don't worry, you'll be running it about seven hundred more times before it becomes irrelevant.

The drop rate is probably the same as the original drop rates for the Throne Gem/Onion Knight and Syrcus Shard/Puff of Darkness in 2.x.

Well, look at it this way - once you finally get the drop/can afford it's price, you'll be ready to actually make personal use of that coffin! ;)

Seriously though, I agree the drop rate for them needs to be increased - a friend of mine is hellbent on getting that coffin for her personal room (it makes sense in context) and is lamenting how poor the drop rate is (and how extremely expensive the sole coffin for sale on the Gridania MB is).

With the addition of Diadem, VA was more dead on arrival then any of the CTs. I'll run it once a week for the upgrade, by never any more - everyone I've talked too agrees. There needs to be some incentive for people to run it more then that....

Dev 1: Let's make it rain 210 items from casual content with no lockout!

Dev 2: Oh yes! Let's also make a casual raid drop i200 that has a weekly lockout!

Dev 1: Best idea EVAH!

Is it lotted against 24 people or 8 for both of the drops? I've run VA like 20 times and never saw either

It's not, MB is pretty telling of that.

I have heard that it works like CT/ST/WOD 2nd chest. It appears on the last boss. I have not seen it happen myself yet, so I can say it with 100% that it's the same exact 2-coffer system.

maybe as rare as Onion Knight minion and Throne Gem in ST when it was release?

I ran ST more than 100 times and only seen Throne Gem twice.

Nah, I remember seeing multiple ST/CT/VoD mats on the MB the first week that they were available. There has only been a single coffin made on my server so far (that I am aware of). There has been 0 posts for either the furniture or mat over two weeks now. It's rarer. Even if your argument is right and it's the same drop % with less people running it, the % chance is too low for the number of players running it. Either way, it's rarer intentionally or unintentionally.

It needs adjusting.
