Some idea for Game play! (Hi! New to the Forums by the way ^_^)

Final Fantasy Series Battle and Boss music! The music for Final Fantasy XIV is truly amazing and I love it. In fact my favorite track has to be of course, A Fine Death. But imagine if you could pick a battle and boss battle theme from any of the Final Fantasy Series games! Battling Monsters around Eorzea with such themes as, Final Fantasy VI's Battle Theme, Or Final Fantasy X's Boss theme. Not saying it would ever be able to happen but it would be something awesome that's for sure. Why, I would even buy a "Battle Pack" (Contains Battle and Boss Battle Music from -Insert Final Fantasy Title-) From the Mog station for like 5$ or even 10$. I think it would be well worth it.

Welcome to the forums. As for you idea, I find it highly unlikely that they will do something such as that in the game because while XIV does love to reference other games in the series, it still wants to stand as it's own game and having a sizeable portion of players simply going with the music from another game would take away from the effort the game designers put into XIV itself sound-wise. At the most, I could see them implementing some sort of "aetherical sound player" to allow you to listen to selected songs off of the game's soundtrack when you're in an inn room, house, or private chamber.....

Also, I would avoid throwing out the idea of adding something to the Mog Station. That's always a touchy subject here on the forums, and with good reason. Many fear that encouraging them to add items, no matter how extraneous, will eventually encourage them to put most new items that aren't directly leveling gear on the Mog Station, rather than develop them to be available in game. This isn't that players don't trust YoshiP to develop the game with the interests of the players in mind, just that they have seen many games in the past slowly go down that course of action and eventually do more harm to the game and community than good......

One more note. While you didn't have issues with it this time, if you intend to make long posts here on the forum, you will come across the 1000 character limit. If you edit your post however, you can bypass that limit and make it as long as you want.....

3_3.. The cash shop could actually use more items unique to the store its kinda barren.. After you strip away all the gear that has been available in-game.

I like the idea. I think we actually do have some battle theme references for certain fates in this game but not for all ff tracks.

@Gamer3427 I'm not so sure about the devs work going to waste. Its only the music developer who's work is being turned optional. If all of the devs teams work was absolutely necessary we'd be forced to endure every cut-scene without skipping it as well as sound effects. Not to mention those who worked on sidequests for we can ignore the entire time. The Mogstation could use something like that as most cosmetics are in game achievements (for the most part). Something like this would benefit the mogstation for sure. Those who don't like the Mogstation can just ignore it as its not gamebreaking in nature. :/
