24 man roulette, please

I've been queuing for Syrcus because I have wanted the minion since I first laid eyes on it and have been particularly unlucky with rolls. Now with a guaranteed minion drop, I've been doing it more often, but the queues are horrendous. 80 min queues AT BEST. I've seen the df run up to 200+ min with no matches.

Make a roulette or, I dunno, update the old weekly quest so it gives gobdip or something. People need a reason to do these old raids or people who need them for glamour, minion farming or quests will be left to our terrible queues.

We ran those 2.x 24 man raids weekly for months and months. I think it's ok for them to lie fallow for awhile. I can't speak for everyone, but I'm still a little burnt out on them. I'd be all for adding a practical reason to return (like your suggestion of updating the Crystal Tower weekly quest), but I'd prefer it not be this early. A raid roulette though wouldn't be so bad, those like me who have had their fill of Crystal Tower can safely ignore roulettes and not feel like we're missing out on something important.

Even if they did add a roulette, why do you HAVE to do it? Why should we be denied the option because you don't want to do it? This applies to anytime people argue against options.

I woud totally OK with a roullete for it that adds esoretics and giles, an alternative to dungeon roulette.

Maybe it's the way you said it, but I'm not following you on this.

Are you arguing for or against the idea?
(Since I dont know, I can only make an assumption for now)

IF your opinion is against it, why would anyone "Need" to do it?

I'm not sure I know what you mean, but I'll try to explain myself a little better. Take for example Neverreap and the Fractal. Many people are burnt out on those two dungeons right now, but what if in the next patch they were a good way to get some of the best gear? Many would be frustrated about that, because it would seem like just yesterday that they were in those dungeons every day and now they would have to go again.

If the Crystal Tower weekly dungeon were upgraded to drop Gobdrip, it would frustrate me because I would feel obligated to run them again because they are an efficient way to gear up, but it seems like just yesterday I was running them over and over.

Honestly, they just need to adjust it to be a leveling thing, similar to the lower level dungeons one. Done. No need to change loot or anything. Slap a lv50 and ilvl cap on it for all anyone cares. This is a far simpler solution than the old suggestion from a while back to turn it into an 8man (or 4man) dungeon. Concerns for leechers already existed from ARR. People who did were reported and eventually kicked. At the very least, reported. A very specific situation would prevent kicks, but that's another matter.
