MPK: Diadem Griefing.

Just sat through the absolute WORST attempt at this thus far.

We had at least 6 parties at Dino island, farming was going all right and then out of no where we start getting bombarded by literally EVERY SINGLE MOB on the island RIGHT when we either call tracks or spawn tracks.

After a couple of minutes, multiple wipes and the ENTIRE player base in the instance having to take to the air to avoid...

This group that kept purposely pulling as many monsters as they could to grief everyone else. We had to sit in the sky for about 15 minutes until they were gone.

This is unacceptable. This shit should not be tolerated. Of course, since theres a bazillion people, getting names is hard... knowing their servers? next to impossible. Absolutely no way to report them for this.

We would move camps, and they would follow and do the same thing. This is bullshit.

You could still report them, as long as you get the names, which is sometimes obviously easier said than done. Target of target usually works well if you can select the mob in time. A lot of how Diadem works is anti-report and pro-grief/frustration... what's sad is that the reasons for this are entirely intentional, but being used in unintentional ways lol. What else is new though on that end. They always stupidly believe that the player base will be void of the bad eggs and, for some even stupider reason, think these few won't affect the many. I think we probably have enough examples about Yoshi-P's/devs naive thoughts to make a drinking game or bingo out of it already. In your case though, reporting should work... whether or not something happens is another story (and one that I can really get into, but won't for this topic).

Low Quality content such as Diadem.

If anything I'd like to see more of these dynamic events. Put in NPC adventurers in who don't know what they're doing and just pull like 500 sanuwas onto your party. Low item level warriors who provoke and crit a huge butcher's block, turning a frontal cone attack into the rest of the party. Healers who fill up the debuff list with non-cleric stance DoTs.


Oh they should enable PVP in Diadem as well.

Diadem is a lot like Dynamis in FFXI. Its pretty decent content just poorly executed. Dynamis dropped items used to upgrade your relic weapons, which were worth a lot of money. Added dynamic depth to the content and kept it relevant to this day.
