90002 Disc every 3 hours
I've been having this problem since I first started with FF14. I disconnect exactly every 3 hours with a 90002 error. The disc can happen very shortly after I first log in or it may take a few hours to occur, so I assume there is no correlation with my actual playtime. I don't experience this kind of connection issue in any other game and I play lots of different games online. At first I thought this was due to the server location being in USA (I'm playing from Germany), but after the server relocation it kept happening. My antivirus programm has FF14 greenlit everywhere and my internet conn is supposed to be "excellent" as it says on the start menu screen ingame. What can I do?

This happened to me, until I cycled my modem and router. I'd suggest trying that, if you haven't already.

Hi, thanks for your reply. What do you mean with "cycle"?

Unplug your modem and router for at least 30 seconds, then plug them back in. Pretty simple. If you're on cable, make sure to unplug the coaxial also.

Did that and it prevented the disc that was to come, but I just disced again 3h after reconnecting the router. My internet access is stable outside FF14, it's really odd.

Since 3.1 hit ive had this issue ranging every 15-70 minutes. Feel your pain, and no doing a simple coaxial reseat with pc does not resolve the issue.

I am having the same issue where every 15 min to 2 hrs I will 90k dc from servers ever since 3.1.
I live in Phoenix AZ and use Cox for my provider.
Router resets do nothing and I have bought PingZapper to make sure I have a good connection and nothing helps. SE help please.
