Targeting and enmity list

Some questions regarding the above. As a Tank.

When I cycle back and forward through targets, it cycles through all viable targets as you know. I try to position the camera so I can only see those I'm engaged with, but sometimes it's not possible or gets awkward.

I also have the enmity list positioned so I can click through it manually, but sometimes that's not easy as I need my mouse for repositioning to avoid telegraphs.

I also use the cycle enmity list keybind, but that only temporarily targets the next enemy and doesn't feel intuitive to use.

Is there anyway to set up macros to more reliably scroll through only the enemies you're engaged with? Maybe one that could cycle the enmity list in descending order?

Or any tips for cycling targets s a tank would be appreciated.

If playing with the controller we can easily cycle through the enmity listed enemies and it makes it a lot easier - so I assume there is some way to do so as well. We do only get soft targeting and need to then confirm the target.

Yeh, is there a way to confirm the target on PC? I could maybe hook up a macro for that.

Anyone? Or do you all just pan the camera so you can only see the targets and scroll through that way?

Two specific questions please:

1. Is there no way to more efficiently utilise the scroll though enmity list soft lock?
2. How do I confirm target after selecting a target using the enmity list scroll (PC)?

What I do is bind both target keybinds to buttons on my mouse, which allow much faster cycling if need be. You can also set a focus target to easily shift back to one mob. To actually confirm a new target selection, you'll either need to click on them directly or via the enmity list or press Numpad 0.
