Text input bug with chat log during crafting

I'm chatting with FC members while crafting. If I'm currently typing something when the craft finishes and the Crafting Log window pops back up, the text input cursor in the chat log is moved at the start of the text input box (or a few characters in). In addition, I can only type a few characters before text input no longer works. clicking outside the chat log window and re-positioning the cursor back at the end of the already-typed text fixes it.

Steps:
1. Begin crafting any recipe
2. Use a macro to advance progress (my macro needs 1x more progress action on higher recipes)
3. Begin typing something in the chat log
4. Use Careful Synthesis II (or any other) to finish crafting and continue typing in the chat log while the action animates and crafting finishes
5. When the Crafting Log re-appears, the text input cursor in the chat log gets moved to a different position, typing becomes locked after a certain amount of text is input

WORKAROUND:
Clicking out of the chat log and clicking in the text input again to reposition the cursor seems to re-enable text input. Repositioning the cursor without first clicking out of the chatlog doesn't.
