This is the kind of stuff I am hoping is what is needed to give a direction to the game, and I'm glad he's focusing on that.

IMO this is the best letter he has done so far, since it is focusing on a longer term vision rather than just a few month forecast.

less quick grind to lvl 50, enjoy the game more folk !!!

With patch 1.19 and this letter, you've solidified my faith in this game. I don't often post on the forums about the things I enjoy, mostly because I'm in game enjoying them. But after reading this and playing post 1.19, I think it's time I said thank you to you, the dev team, the community team and everyone else that's been a part of FFXIV. Thank you for all your hard work.

A lot of heart in this one :D

Great read. That was very different from many of the previous letters. Whoever translated that did an amazing job.

I'm glad you're having a great time, and I'm personally having a bit of a better time, but I do believe people will burn out on this patch quicker than 1.18. There is still work to do. :)

The most exciting thing about this patch is obviously the crafting overhaul and how it has revitalized people to go out, get new stuff, and then work with the materia system to delete old stuff.

The power leveling run also really hyped interest in the patch.
