SCH and SMN problems in Diadem
Playing SCH in Diadem I was advised to increase my DPS to get the team better credit. Putting the difficulties of doing so aside (like during intensive esuna & healing a *) I noticed a major issue - DoTs (& their statuses) missed completely.
Mobs can only have a max of 60 status effects at one time & most of SCH & SMN DPS comes from DoTs. In fact, we only have a few direct damage spells, some like Broil are MP rich to use continuously. As a result I felt like I was letting the team down because I just couldn't increase my DPS.
There's also the issue of an accuracy cap in HM. I'm sure I saw my Energy Drain miss which makes me think that if Diadem does require SCH DPS then we're pretty much useless in the current "must go zero Dinos" scenario for anything other than heals. It's worse for SMN as their strength is DoT damage.
Kept seeing Protect "drop off" which is annoying & I can't work out what's happening.
