Please remove the eso cap now that Diadem exists.

Give us ways to keep our gear somewhat updated for those who find Diadem to be incredibly boring. I would rather run dungeons and grind eso all day instead of Diadem all day. I know eso gear isn't as good as the stuff you can find in Diadem but I would like at least like to have some fun with the game while getting some decent gear.

I don't see a point of the cap existing since Diadem has no lockouts and drops stronger gear.

Tomes are only uncapped when a new tome is introduced. We don't have a new tome yet, maybe with the next update or two.

They should do away with that rule then.

The reason they won't is because getting a 210 piece of gear in the Diadem AND it having good secondary stats is gated by RNG. Esoterics is gated by time and that is something they can control as well as RNG with the Diadem. Caps are not going away anytime soon.

The only thing you need 210 gear for is raiding, and gearing up for raiding is incredibly accessible right now. With Eso's, Hunts, Diadem, Void Ark, Thordan EX, and Savage itself, there's no shortage of high level gear that you can use to progress your character. Surely gathering colored trinkets for Rowena isn't the only metric of fun to be had in the game?

Void Ark gets you gear once a week, Thordan just drops weapons, Savage is cool but it's not something you can just do constantly like the Diadem and not nearly as easy.

Yeah, I love the other options but they all have restrictions. Diadem? Not so much.

If the best gearing option doesn't have restrictions I'm not seeing what's so bad about lifting the eso cap.

There really isn't anything, especially at this point but people will invent contrived reasons to justify it. For a game that apparently encourages paying a lot of different classes, it sure does punish you for wanting to gear them up to the same standard.

90% of the 210 diadem gear is garbage and getting even 1 good piece might take ages

I think its fine as it is, while you can get 1 usefull piece of 210 per week from eso/void arc/hunt

Maybe if you only play one class, but it's obnoxious (and always have been) if you would like to play many regularly without most of them lagging behind.
