I wish they would do game world themed holidays (like runescape now does? Instead of implementing real world holiday clones

No data about reindeer mount but you can ride Roegadeer instead.

They went out of their to give us a flying mount of all things for this year's halloween. Maybe we'll have flying reindeer with or without a sleigh?
