Diadem's kinda annoying..

I say this because



Theres no kick option which I enjoy but however, people moan when someone goes afk for a minute or two, or when people are gathering.

People moan when others greed on all 210 gear. They say; "Thats not fair! You should let people have the gear." Not to be rude but no. I dont have to. Its greed only. I shouldnt have to pass because people are afraid of losing rolls. I was threatened to be reported if I rolled on 210 gear that wasnt for my class specifically. -.-

I go out to look for buried coffers, people moan. Excuse me, I'm trying to get you all EXTRA loot to roll on. Sorry if thats wrong? Of course I still participate in the fights but I really hate fighting in Diadem. I always get killed, I can't do my rotations correctly because theres always another ninja there distracting me, lag, or the screen blinds me from the flashing lights that appear when over 30+ people attack one mob.

Its a mess. Anyone else feel this way?

It's something with big potential that introduced a lot of rough edges that need smoothing over. They will gather feedback and make many adjustments. I think not being able to kick and replace members has something to do with it costing fuel tanks to enter which guarantees people 90 mins of time, and same reason it's not on the duty finder so you need to be in a certain location to enter.

I'm trying to just accept the way people want to play in there even if it's counter to my own goals and just take what I can get. The exchange npc for sky pirate spoil tokens needs a filter to not display gear set items.

Why are you getting killed? Only the tank should be taking any serious damage.

How does another ninja prevent you from doing your rotation correctly? Just focus on yourself.

Lag is your own issue.

Turn off effects from people outside your party if you're getting blinded.

There's always that one Ninja that applies Dancing Edge very inconsistently, and when you attempt to do it they overwrite it at randoms times and then reapply it 30+ seconds after it wore off. Even when you tell them to stop they persist... that's the only thing I could think of.

Troll enmity abilities.

Diadem takes a whole lot of team work. Going off on your own to find coffers can actually hinder the party. If a NM spawns and your party doesn't do enough damage, you won't get credit.

Your party should also have a mutual agreement on the loot. Go with your FC or specify the loot rules in Party Finder. Our FC has a greed only rule, however if the gear is BiS for someone we pass it for them.

It will be a mess if you don't communicate with your party.

The issues you describe are mostly solved by Party Finder. Don't use Duty Finder - agree on the rules with everyone present before you leave. For example, the only runs I go on are 150/180 Greed and 210s are need-only, which is a fairly common setup.

There are some other issues with Diadem, but you'd save yourself at least some trouble by not using DF for it.

I'm loving the diadem! It's FAR from a mess.it's always down who you go in with. If you go random pugs or df you will encounter leeches of all sorts. If you go with friends or an organised party you will have the time of your life :-)

It's not the system if the players.

I personally think that if a ilvl210 gear isn't for your main class you should pass it. There is a reason why the community is very salty about these things, people in NA servers are way too greedy.

I play on the JP server and I have not yet encountered any bad things yet. But people here a lot more thoughtful for everyone in the group.

Even when communicating with your party, people sometimes just say screw it and go off on their own anyway. When two or more DDs do this, it basically means the entire party can't get credit when there's 20+ people wailing on a NM.

I certainly agree that a mutual agreement would be nice, but that's not always how it works with strangers.
