I'm having a problem in game and the GM told me to post it here.
I had done the quests and dungeon for Pharos Sirius but I can not talk to the person to unlock Pharos Sirius Hard mode. I checked both Upper Limsa Lominsa and Aleport and I simply can not get the quest to be unlocked. Please help.

Did you talk to the person in Aleport?
I ran into an issue where I had completed Pharos Normal, but I never continued with the rest of the Sirius Business quest. Once I finished that up in Aleport then I could get quest from the Grand Company guy in Limsa.
Yeah it sounds like you haven't done "Why So Sirius"
Yeah...two or three cut scenes for level 47-ish quest chain to tie up the original Pharos story. Girl not far from the Aleport crystal...Daiimil or something odd like that. Run off to the right towards the other docks I think. Leads you to the lala blacksmith at the end of the dock to the right of the ferry dock.

This was from earlier today before I came to ask for help here.
A friend took me to the Airship dock. I never remembered accepting the quest and couldn't find it on my quest list but I ran the dungeon last night.
Case Closed.
