Tips (guide) for verminion CPU challenges

General:
Most useful controller/gamepad commands:
Triangle (Y) - Select area
L3 (Push in left analog stick) - switch summoning gate
DPAD - Select through hotbar for minion to summon
L1+O (LT+B) - Select all units with the same type as current
L1+DPAD - Select individual units
L1+Square (LT+X) - Use ability

Early game:
Summon your lowest cost minions (6*10 cost, 4*15 cost etc)before the game starts, then immediately summon high cost minions

Good minions:
Yugiri: low cost high single target dps
Minion of light (WHM): low cost heals, can move them in to heal then back out to charge up
Minion of light (WAR): low cost high damage vs crystals
Thancred: traps (aoe damage), aoe normal attack

Notable minions:
Demon wall: low cost tank/distraction
Hildebrand: expensive but very high atk and def. Useless ability though - don't need 4 of them.

Non boss battles:
Start with 3 minion of light (fighter type) on the left and right sides and send them to the enemy crystal, ignoring enemies and your own crystals (AI should ignore them). Summon whatever you want and put it in the middle.

Challenge 12:
Let the boss destroy your gates, it will only do it once and then go back to crystals. Use poppets against the boss.

Challenge 15:
Boss will start casting Game Over when low on health, but it won't attack from there. Use Yugiri for high dps.

Challenge 19:
When the boss uses /grovel, send your minions away as he will use a heavy aoe attack

Challenge 23:
Probably the hardest one.
4 Nodes will spawn around the map, each has an invincibility to a certain type of minion. Top and bottom 2 nodes will walk horizontally and combine, which also combines there invincibility types, then the 2 will walk vertically to the centre before becoming completely invincible.
I used 3 tomato kings and placed them at the bottom meeting point (bottom is invincible to poppets and gadgets) so they always kill the node. Then I used poppets on the boss which also killed the top node as it came to the centre (it will be missing invincibility vs poppets as it was killed).

Challenge 24:
I used Hildebrand and plush cushions only, they have high speed
Dodge the aoe circles, they are lethal
Send units to the towers before they blow up else you lose all your minions (I parked 2-4 plush cushions on the map, they can take 2 towers before dying)
