DC'ing a lot in Lavender Beds anyone?

Hey all!

The last month or so I've noticed that whenever I'm at our FC house in The Lavender Beds that my game frequently DC's with either a 90001 or 90002 error. Now I know this means a client side error from looking things up on the web and this would be correct. Mainly because my connection of my modem to my PC seems to be force kicked sometimes for roughly 5-10 seconds before popping back in. My connection isn't timing out, it's being actively kicked. Whenever I was quick enough to diagnose the problem I would usually get the error that the DNS-server isn't responding. It's strange this would kick me from the game though, as I figure I wouldn't need a DNS once I'm already connected and happily chatting away in The Lavender Beds

I figured it was my own modem being a bit wacky, so I updated the network card drivers, checking a wide array of settings in both my network card and modem from people having a DC problem around the web (ivp4 and 6 settings for example). I tried to set my modem to use alternative DNS-servers such as openDNS and Google's but this didn't help either. I tried switching the actual wire connecting my PC with modem too and tried using another ethernet port on my PC. I checked if there was updated firmware available for my modem, which there wasn't. Last but not least I tried running several anti-malware and virus programs to see if that may be it, but to no avail either.

After a long frustrating search I just couldn't seem to fix it and that the only solution may be to replace my modem, which is a few years old. I would just have to suck it up until I get the possibility to do so.

However, two of my FC mates also seem to have this DC problem. Then by some weird flash of "enlightenment" I noticed how it's always in The Lavender Beds I'm having these forced DCs. When I asked them where they usually DC, they instantly replied "at the house -_-", meaning in The Lavender Beds. These friends both play on PS4 btw, as opposed to me on PC.

Now before I start asking if anyone has any insight into what I could try to solvethis connection problem I have, I got to wonder if more people are experiencing this problem in The Lavender Beds (or perhaps other residential areas)? I figured it may just be coincidence that I have these DC's always in there, but seeing as two friends have it as well... just maybe it could be something in the area that is tripping up modems somehow? If anything this question could serve to rule out something.
