Verminion L1 + pad button troubles

I went to do the first tutorial of Verminion today. I was tasked with using L1 + arrow button to select one of my minions, then to use L1 + pad button to perform a special ability.

Problem is, on my PS4 controller I've set L1 + pad button to hide the HUD. So when I pressed it, guess what it did.
That's right. Hid the HUD. :p And no special ability could be performed. So i thought I'd change that keybind in the settings, but alas there was no access to settings while ingame.

So I got stuck. Figured I'd forfeit the tutorial despite the 100 MGP I payed for it.
But I found no way of doing that. :| So I ended up exiting the whole game to relog in order to quit the Verminion tutorial.

Heh.

Maybe I overlooked something? If not, that's really something that should be looked into.

Yes the tutorial is not very clear for use with ps4 controller. Is hard to follow and use it properly (took all the time of tutorial trying to understand the thing with A section)

I'm still trying to figure out how to de summon minions on controller, but for the tutorial I found it easiest to simply button mash my way to victory while figuring out how to do all the things.

One way to unsummon is to click the little cactuar icon on the right.

While for the special ability I just leave the mouse pointer on the big red button and double pat the touchpad to activate it.
