Im a lv 60 bot and have lv 55 gear plus lv 30 accessories. I cant see to get one blue script. to purchase lv 58 gear. can i collect lv 50 collectibles and use those scripts to buy 58 gear?

No, you can't. Only the items that give blue scrips when turned in...give blue scrips when turned in. You can see which ones do and don't at the turn-in window at the NPC or in the Timers section of the main menu. I believe the lowest level items that do are all level 56.
Aside from using the right abilities, Perception and GP are key for gathering scrip materials. You should really upgrade your offhand slot to the most current piece, and consider getting some new accessories. Can't help with the rotation from back then, though, as I don't remember it.
Upgrade your weapon and off hand if you can; maybe if you can find a nice crafter to meld some accessories for you (I still use my lvl fifty accs for Red Scrip gathering...not ideal but possible so...)
