Game Time Cards HELP!!!
I am currently situated in the UK and I have Friends in the US. One of the friends came to me today and said that they couldn't afford Subscription so I offered to get her a Game Time Card. So I created an account on the NA Square-Enix Shop and saw that they were doing Digital 60 Day Time cards So I went to go purchase one for her with my billing details and her delivery address and then it asked me for Shipping details. WAIT WHAT!!! Why would a digital Time card need Shipping address and Fees? I'm just stumped i thought that the code would come to me in an email or something but haven't even received that. Can someone shed some light. (P.S Received confirmation email and Paypal has been charged).

Generally billing address is required to confirm your credit card belongs to you.

It said that it had confirmed payment, and everything was OK i just don't see why they would charge me shipping if it was digital and not instant through an email or something

Honestly your best option here may be to get one from Amazon. My friend lives overseas, but he is using a us account. So to buy time he has to go to Amazon and buy a us card. If square doesn't let you "cheat the system" by trying to buy it with a us account, that may be your best bet.
To answer your question though, it's just standard that you enter a shipping address. You will be emailed the code though.

Hi.I'm new too.Was thinking to sub a 90days game time using official site but due to region problem i can't seem to do that too. After that I used the site ''Offgamer.com'' which i used to purchase digital cards and games for other mmo.You probably can try this too.Select credit card/debit payment , verify the OTP(security) on your phone and you get your digital code in 1-5mins. its very safe and fast. :)
