Player progression/accomplishment thread

In the spirit of those ancient FFXI threads on the Killing Ifrit job forums, I figured I'd start one of these here to pass the time.

So, share your experiences. How's the game treating you after 1.19? Which goals have you reached and which are you still working on? I recently came back and got my PGL from 34-39 now that EXP parties are fun (Didn't enjoy levelinking). Half-assedly killing the NMs for the Ifrit prequest and just straight up working on getting my character to R50 and up to speed with equipment/materia.

so far its been a cake walk. ^^

I keep expecting the materia price to go down, The standard price for IV (on my server at least) is 1 million right now. I wonder what it will be 1 year from this date?
