Crashing in dx11 and randomly with dx9 getting tired of it

I'm getting tired of randomly having driver failures in dx9 and crashing completely and having to restart my pc to avoid lag once I have to log back into ffxiv. I have an AMD R9 285 and before you guys go bashing AMD, I've been reading for months that ppl with NVIDIA cards are having the same problems too.
Even read a thread once where ppl with Titan X cards (which I heard are super expensive) were having crash problems trying to play in dx11. I'm tired of being stuck in dx9 and I want this fixed. HW launched several months ago and still having issues here. I've tried every driver that's come out since the beginning of the year even went further back to try older drivers with the same problem. Can't run HW w/o crashing in dx11. Anyone else have this problem still and have a solution they found?
Even the once in a blue moon driver crashes and recoveries in dx9 have gotten old.
