Give trial account the right to group up as party

Hi everyone,

Me and my friend decided to try FF14 so we created trial accounts.

I totally understand that such account should be limited in levels / communication features ... but how do you test a MMO game w/o being able to group ?

So really i don't understand why we couldn't group and how it can be negative for the rest of the Community.
Beside we finally could group asking someone in a town to group us both and then leave the group.
So we have to beg each time we log on someone to group us so we can play together and test it correctly.

The game is really good , both of us had a very good feeling about it in the first minutes but seriously if we didnt find this workaround we may had simply drop the game.
It is not a rant , just a feedback , as we did appreciate the game so now we can make up our minds on buying or not but i imagine a lot of people could be disapointed by this.

I agree with you, well if you're lucky maybe the Forum Mods pick this up and pass it to the devs along with the 2 topics on opening a new EU world.

Anti-RMT feature, so sadly I imagine they won't change this. :( Otherwise, gil sellers could spam party invites using trial accounts to advertise. (I actually remember them doing this awhile back.. but I don't know if it was with trial accounts..)

Yeah, unfortunately this is due to Gold Sellers creating trial accounts and then spam party requesting people so they can do their ads.

it is a work around i think. though if you could get a player that is active account add both of you to the party then leave. you might be able to stay grouped to try and see if you like it.

i invited a few friends on trial accounts as i was a full subscriber. so that might be a way.
