The World Map and Player Location

I hope that this is the appropriate forum to post game related feedback! Is it possible to consider making a change to the way the World Map currently opens and selects 'Center Map on Player Location'. I like to position my map in such a way that I can see all the land and available FATES but I don't not like to keep my map open all the time.

Currently if I close and re-open the World Map, it repositions itself to center and follow the Player automatically, even after de-selecting this function, every time the map is re opened. A small change to make sure that the map always opens and closes and stays in the same position would be a tremendous, personal improvement to my gameplay.

I desperately hope you will consider my feedback and suggestion.
