I saw that houses will be able to be shared with other people. Does this enable the other players to have their own rooms like an FC-room or is it just the house?

Probably not, unfortunately.
Would be nice if personal houses could have FC rooms. It's the least they could do if they want to charge the same price for the dang things as FC houses. -

I agree with Naunet. Originally the prices were to be lesser for personal houses, which never came to pass. Along with that the fact the FC houses are money machines.... ours is anyway due to airship ventures.... the least that they could do is give us personal rooms in our now shared personal houses. There have been whispers of this but never anything official.

Rooms would be nice, but I hope that there is A) no limit to the number of houses you can share (eg. I can share a house with a friends and they can all share their houses with me) and B)sharing a house INCLUDES the ability to port there if the owner has installed the aetheryte. It will never happen I'm sure but C) ability to share the house WITH ALTS...
