Do you think it will be nerfed/changed some time after it goes live do to some win-trading or something like it associated with tournament match-ups and play?

It sounds like they alrdy designed it with that in mind, while it might be possible to play with friends with ease, when it comes to tourney mode it sounds like it will match you up with someone random so you can't really expect Joe Smo to let you win, especially if it also pulls from the server cluster, time will tell though.

I'm pretty sure it will pull from the data center you are in. From what I saw on the live letter you will need to queue to play LoV, like you queue for dungeons.

I think it is more like queue fo Chocobo racing, because you will need to be in the gold saucer for it.
