Exp modifiers off monsters

Hello everyone. As some of you may remember, Kaeko did some poking around, discovering a few different base exp values off monsters in FFXIV. For instance, you'd get higher base exp off Sunfire Drakes than Fat Dodos. However, the devs have since changed the exp system, although I have no idea how the creatures' modifiers were handled.

What with the recent boost in the appearance of grind parties, I thought it might be interesting to know which mobs have better exp rates, compared to how viable they are to grind off.

Though I doubt anyone has done much testing at this stage (or is willing to share it for that matter) I thought I might as well toss the question out there.

Anyone knows anyone who's been looking into this lately?

I believe the patch notes stated that base exp rates will be identical for most enemies with exceptions made only for especially weak or strong monsters. This is because monster power was standardized to be more closely related to their level.
