PSN error np-37680-4 work around question

This error that Sony arrogantly refuses to recognize or address has kept me offline from FF14 on PS4 over 24 hours now. I was wondering, if I buy new copies of ff14 + HW on my secondary PSN account (which works just fine it only effects primary accounts) after installing would I be able to use my current characters log in info to continue playing? Reset day is coming up and I am short on eso tomestones for the week, I'm willing to pay to get around this error as Sony has given no timeframe for addressing this issue, or even confirmed its existence.

FFXIV accounts can only be linked to one PSN account, so no.

And my account is primary and has had no issues at all, so I guess this error is just selective because I haven't had issues today or yesterday

Have you tried changing your DNS settings? Slow DNS tends to be a common issue with the consoles. Some have seen their PS3/4 networking errors diminish using Google's public DNS:

8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4
