I thoroughly believe that there is a bug with the bonus lights. For weeks now I've noticed long strings of windows where the trials will just have no bonuses whatsoever, I don't think it used to happen this often pre-3.0.
I have a theory of why it happened: I think the system is trying to give the bonuses to the new content in the randomization process, but because the new content doesn't generate light at all, we can't find them.
