Feedback on the new Server Location

Hey guys,

so I'm aware that there already is a post in this forum about the servers moving to the EU, but it seemed more like a general questions / troubleshooting topic, so I figured I would pop open a new thread. I hope this is ok.

I have been stuck on Titan EX for a while now and for me the hardest thing about the fight was being hit by plumes even when it looked like my toon had been out of them for at least one or two seconds.

I just entered the fight for the first time with the new server location and the two can't even be compared. It feels like I have at least twice the amount of time to dodge the plumes now and one time, I actually waited until the very last ms to dodge to see just how good the response time is and didn't get hit. Anyway, I have absolutely no idea how any of this server stuff works, I just wanted to say how grateful I am to you guys for working overtime these past days to make the transition this smooth and fix our pings!

The difference is remarkable - i had no problem dodging and the only thing that annoyed me was mudra lag, but thats completely gone now so again:

My feedback on the servers moving? Bitter sweet. It's great that all my EU friends have great ping now, but it's sad that I might have to leave them all, so that my 300+ ping goes back to 200+, I am from New Zealand and there hasn't even been a sniff of news about anything to do with Australia and New Zealand when it comes to ff14 in general, let alone servers :')
We can't even get the carbuncle plushies from the squeenix store here. Or the Cloud plushie my friends were posting :')
