10 Things To Do Pre-Patch

Hey Everyone, I just put together a video listing a few things to keep you occupied while waiting for any patch to drop. Please take a look and let me know what you do to pass time until we get new content.

Here's a summary for those who wish only to read:

10.Gather
9. Craft
8. Collect Minion/Cards/Mount/etc.
7. Achievements
6. FC Events
5. Replay on a new character without skipping dialogue.
4. PvP
3. Host a community event (eg. March of the Lalafell's)
2. Level/Gear your other jobs
1. Research info on upcoming patches/create FFXIV-related content for the community to enjoy

While some people will see it that way, there are plenty of other players who just give up after they've reached a certain point following the release of new content. I just want to help the community stick with the game when things seem bleak. So making media related to staying with the game seemed like a good idea, it wasn't meant to be something negative.

Too late. I haven't logged in and actually played in over a month now.

Sorry to hear, even if you have no interest in logging in until the next patch, there is a lot of information about upcoming content, and the patch is just around the corner so the wait won't be much longer! :D

I see your trying to churn intereset in your youtube channel.

Just a quick tip: It's great to post your video in your post and all but don't just leave it sitting there and expect people to not call you out on it. You are on a forum for discussion not for videos so posting the text form is only in good form. Those who don't want to read will go watch your video.

Decent ideas and combined in many cases.

Because crafting for other people, .aka markets is pretty slow right now, I level other characters and craft for them.

Even second run of MSQ I am guilty of skipping text but doing it with a character that has all HQ gear, over meld on some, add in knowing what to expect makes second run all together different and a lot faster.
