EDIT: A1S and A2S got REKT! We still need a DRK or maybeeeeeee a PLD (them 3.1 buffs right) to round out our roster and get us into A3S. Any questions at all? Poke me ingame!

Hello friends!

TLDR good players looking for other good players to make static with & have fun! Is this for you? Then please read on!

We are a group of 4 players with extensive MMO experience, in FF14 as well as other games, looking to delve into the Heavensward end game after hanging out pugging A1S for a while. We are looking for 4 additional players with similar goals to join us in experiencing the content, chilling and having fun!

The jobs:

Our group currently consists of AST, SCH, DRG, NIN, WAR, BRD, SMN. This means we are currently looking for:

• DRK/PLD

We also have TS etc you have to be on there etc. Bet you never read that before.

Our background, and the type of player we are looking for:

As I wrote in the opener, all four of us have relatively extensive previous experiences of hardcore PvE content in this game and others, and that means we are looking for players with a similar mindset & goals as us.

For example, what I personally did before we got our A1S kill was: watch 3 healer PoV videos of the fight, find a page with all the timings for the fight and have it open on my second screen as well as a clock, read forum posts of what other healers did regarding cooldown usage at various phases of the fight etc.

I didn't do this because anyone told me to, I did it because I wanted to be the most prepared I could, and be the best in my role I can be! This is fun to me, to minmax, to be a fucking tryhard who knows everything there is to know about my job and the encounters.

That's not to say we will be a hardcore static! I will not be aiming for any server firsts or whatever, our goal will be to experience the content with likeminded people while having a good time!

"But Milla, that's only seven hours a week! How will you kill A4S like that?"

In my opinion, the endgame in this game as it stands is too limited to spend 3 days a week on without getting burned out. Bashing your head against A3S or whatever doesn't seem super enjoyable if that's the only thing you do 3 nights a week, since there's no alternative fights you could try.

That's not to say we'll be 2 nights a week forever, if it's super fun and everyone wants to, maybe we'll change it up! Who knows.

Expected rate of progress:

I expect us to kill A2S fairly easily, maybe even on the first night if people have done their preparation, as the step up in difficulty from A1S doesn't seem that big. A3S DOES however seem to be the first actual hard fight in HW, oh man I'm excited, but the slimeball should hopefully die some time around 3.1, if everyone pulls their weight and we can channel the power of friendship!

Gear

Applicants should have gear suitable to this step in the HW gear treadmill, meaning ilvl 195 or so, which should be easily acquireable if you've capped your esos and done your alex normal each week, even if you hit 60 a bit later in HW. If you haven't, we're probably not the static for you!
