In case I remembered the name of the tank buff right, convalescence is the one that increases healing received. The question is, if I have Regen on the tank and he pops the buff afterwards, do the remaining ticks of the Regen get affected? Or does it only apply to spells that land after the buff is in effect? Also, does it affect to ability healing like the WHM bubble (first one that comes to mind)?
No. It only applies to any healing spells after Convalescence is up.
No. Any healing abilities, i.e Lustrate, Tetragramaton, etc., are not affected by Convalescence or Defiance.
Basically, Convalescence only affects the Cure series, regen, physick, adlo, Benefection series, and aspected bene. Any other abilities are not affected.
And regen is treated the same as Protect or any other buff you have. Everything is calculated at the time of casting and is set based on that time. That's why divine seal+regen persists even after divine seal wears off, and why when you sync to a FATE, your buffs disappear.
Thanks for the quick answers ^^ . Both were as I suspected but I had to make sure. I spotted that Defiance only works on skills classified as spells on another thread and thought it might be the same for the convalescence.
