Recommended Change to the Launcher

I was wondering why the Launcher Client forces you to log in to update the game. I am someone who plays this game both at home, and at lan cafes with friends, and it becomes frustrating that I need to login & launch the game simply to update it and play.

There are other MMOs that force an update, or ask to update, as soon as the launcher is, well, launched.

Is it possible this be a future change? That way if there is a 25gb update I don't have to wait 90 min to play AFTER I show up to a lan cafe that has it installed?
